Oh hi! 
My name is Kathleen, and I am the "Cookier" behind The Whisk! 
I made my first sugar cookies around Christmas, 2018. I was watching the "Christmas Cookie Challenge" and I thought... "I can do that". 
Well, I could NOT do that! My fist attempts were huge, hilarious fails. I stopped making cookies until April of 2019, when I decided to try again for Easter. 
I was raising money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, in memory of my mom, who passed away unexpectedly. I was looking for a way to thank the people who were donating, and I thought I would try offering cookies for donations. 
I took out my mixer, and this time, something clicked. I started watching decorating videos, I took a class at a local grocery store, and my wonderful husband bought me my first cookie supplies. I was hooked. 
I have spent the last 3+ years getting creative with sugar. I have made some amazing new friends, I've tapped into a talent I didn't know I had, and I have found a way to make people smile.
